Dr. Ovidio A. Garcia-Villarreal is a cardiac surgeon dedicated to the private practice, retired from the social medicine. He is the past president of the Mexican society of cardiac surgery, and the Current President of the Mexican college of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. He has been working on the mitral, aortic and tricuspid reconstruction for more than 25 years. He has been pioneer in the field of cardiac arrhythmia surgery, especially in atrial fibrillation surgery (Cox-maze procedure) as well as in aortic valve sparing operations in Mexico. He has implemented national surgical models for valvular heart reconstruction and maze procedure. He has been also dedicated to clinical research, with more than 50 international publications in PubMed. Editor-in -chief of the journal Cirugia Cardiaca en Mexico, and reviewer in more than 15 international journals. He is active member of the Mexican Society of cardiac Surgery, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery, amongst others.

Sergey Suchkov was born in the City of Astrakhan, Russia, in a dynasty medical doctors, graduated from Astrakhan State Medical University and was awarded with MD.Then maintained his PhD and Doctor Degree. And later was working for Helmholtz Eye Research Institute in Moscow, Moscow Clinical Research Institute (MONIKI). Dr Suchkov was a Secretary-in-Chief of the Editorial Board, Biomedical Science, an international journal published jointly by the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK. At present, Dr Sergey Suchkov is a Chair of Dept of Personalized Medicine, I.M.Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, and Secretary General, United Cultural Convention (UCC), Cambridge, UK; a member of the: New York Academy of Sciences, American Chemical Society (ACS), American Heart Association (AHA), AMEE, Dundee, UK; EPMA, Brussels, EU; PMC, Washington, DC, USA and ISPM, Tokyo, Japan.

Ingolf Schimke has completed his Ph.D. at the age of 27 years from “Academia der Wissenschaften” of the German Democratic Republic and postdoctoral studies from “Humbold Universität zu Berlin” Medicine. Until 2014, he was Professor for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine at the “Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin” and is presently Director of Research & Development at “Berlin Cures GmbH”. He has published more than 100 papers in reputed journals. He is serving as an editorial board member of reputed journals.
